One of the hardest reviews I’ve ever had to make — but well deserved. It took me a year to get to this point. There are genuinely good people working at InPeace, and Ryan is one of them. After the sudden passing of my mom, I was overwhelmed — it was my first time having to make arrangements. Ryan’s compassion and patience carried me through. He answered all of my texts, followed through on all my preferred details, and even went above and beyond to help me acquire my desired urn. He explained everything clearly, never rushed, and made a painful process feel manageable. The entire team — including the two Matts — was also incredibly accommodating and supportive. On behalf of my family, I would 100% recommend InPeace — their compassion and sensitivity make a big difference when you need it most.

❤️❤️❤️❤️🙏🙏🙏🙏. In Peace, wow, what can i say. I lost my dad & had no clue & no direction as to carrying out his wishes. There was very little money & very little time. They were incredible!!!! From the 1st call to the complete end. It warmed my heart to know that there are people out there that care more than just for profit. They were patient, understanding, always in reach & went way pass the extra mile. If i could give them all a huge hug in appreciation, i would. Unfortunately, there will be another time where God will call more people home. Atleast i can confidently use In Peace to help & support me in this time & the next. Thank you to everyone. 🙏🙏❤️❤️

A direct cremation is an immediate cremation without any additional services or ceremonies. This option provides families with a more affordable, flexible, and simple way to honor their loved ones after their passing.
Yes we are! We carry all the same licenses and registrations as a traditional funeral home. Our funeral home locations are at 1600 Stuyvesant Avenue in Union New Jersey and 323 Avenue U in Brooklyn New York. Our administrative office is located at 131 Varick Street in Manhattan.
Inpeace is able to offer such affordable pricing because we don’t carry the usual costs associated with traditional funeral homes. Because our funeral directors work entirely with customers online we do not have expensive physical locations and additional staff. We are able to provide you with the same comfort and care for a much lower price.
After checkout you will immediately receive an email confirming your arrangement. An Inpeace director will contact you very soon after to confirm all your information and gather anything additional still needed. Once we have everything confirmed, we will arrange to pick up your loved one, escort them through the cremation process and see the remains returned to you.
The Inpeace process is 5 steps in total and takes less than 10 minutes.
Once we have vital information for your loved one, we file for certified death certificates with the locality where your loved one passed. These are processed and in most cases will be available with your loved one’s ashes, though they can be mailed directly to you. This can be the longest step in the process, and we generally advise 2-3 weeks. If there is any delay we follow up with the state authority on your behalf.
